In case you had any doubt, Siegfried and Roy have proven they are totally nuts.
Last night they reunited with Montecore, the massive white tiger that mauled Roy a little over 5 years ago, for a charity performance at the Bellagio hotel-casino.
The benefit was for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The center, which will treat brain disorders like those Roy now suffers, is set to open later this year. If this is any indication, both Siegried and Roy have brain disorders. I prefer to call theirs "insanity."
The pair have said they believe Montecore sensed Roy was having a mini stroke and was dragging him to safety, rather than attacking him. Animal experts have disputed that theory. After a two year review, federal investigators never determined what set off Montecore.
No shit.
What's the matter, the tiger couldn't actually tell them what made him do it? Yes, of course, if Montecore wanted to kill Roy he could have ripped off his head, but he didn't, preferring to put Roy's head in his mouth. What was he going to do? Suck the mini stroke out of his skull?
