But according to today's NY Times, things are worse than ever for Israel.
Its sports teams have met hostility and violent protests in Sweden, Spain and Turkey. Mauritania has closed Israel's embassy.
American Jewish liberals are not at all happy with Israel either and soon Benjamin Netanyahu will be back with his right wing hawks. His appointees will be sure to take the present situation and make it even worse, if that is even possible.
Israel's image took a real beating starting in January when it started blowing the shit out of Palestinian settlements in the Gaza Strip. Well, no shit, Sherlock. If you want people to get behind your right to exist, you don't go firebombing innocent civilians. Just sayin'.
