It's very hard for me to relate to the whole Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme on a personal level. I didn't have millions of dollars to fork over to Bernie so he didn't scam me. I sure showed him by being broke in the first place!
As you no doubt have heard by now, Madoff pleaded guilty to 11 counts of being a scumbag which included bilking investors out of $65 billion. He will spend the rest of his life in Federal pound me in the ass prison.
It's hard for me to believe the well-heeled gentry applauding his conviction when they say they are now broke. I don't think they really comprehend what being 'broke' means. It doesn't just mean you have to let the Hamptons house go or that Raul the cabana boy will only work on holiday weekends this year.
In any event, I'm curious where Bernie stashed the money. Show us the money, dude! Or at least start naming names because you obviously didn't pull this stunt all by your lonesome.

I saw a cartoon in The News: 2 of Bernie's victims living on the street in a cardboard shack hear that he'll spend the rest of his life in jail. Their response, "Lucky'' .
