Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.A man was hit by an SUV in Corona, Queens, NY yesterday morning. The driver called the police but apparently before they could get to the victim he got caught underneath a van being driven by Manual Latuma and was subsequently dragged nearly 20 miles.
Onlookers were amazed that the body remained half under, half out from beneath the van. They could not believe the van's driver didn't realize he was dragging a body from Queens to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.
Police are checking along the route to see if the corpse dropped any parts on the journey. An autopsy is planned to see whether the man was killed by the initial hit or from being dragged all around the town.
