"Move that finger, girl, before I bite it off."As we suspected, Etta James is none too pleased with Beyonce stealing her song "At Last" and singing it for the Obamas at one of the Inaugural balls.
Last week at a concert in Seattle, Etta told the crowd, "I tell you that woman he had singing for him, singing my song, she gonna get her ass whupped. I can't stand Beyoncé... [she] had no business ... singing my song that I been singing forever."
James blames Obama himself apparently.
"You know your President, right? You know the one with the big ears? He ain't my President."
Whoa, Etta! Easy girl! You were invited to the inauguration but declined because of health reasons. If you didn't want Beyonce to portray you in the movie (which probably no one saw anyway) "Cadillac Records" you should have spoken up.
