Senator Claire McCaskill (pictured above) has become my personal hero.
The Senator from Missouri (the Show Me State) wants to know why Wall Street firms receiving bail out money gave out $18.4 billion in bonuses last year as they were going down the toilet.
Seriously, isn't that what average people want to know?
McCaskill has called for a cap on salaries at firms receiving bail out money at $400,000 annually, which, as she notes, is what the President of the United States gets paid.
If I ever have the chance to vote for Senator McCaskill for any office, I will.
