Octopus's Garden

It takes a village to birth and take care of octopusuplets

The tale of the mother who gave birth to eight infants grows more and more bizarre. This will be my third post on the subject and I hope it will be the last.

Nadya Suleman is an unmarried, unattached woman of 33 who, according to her own mother, is obsessed with babies. The funny thing about babies is they grow up and you have to take care of them.

Ms. Suleman now has 14 children under the age of 7 and she and the kids live in a 3 bedroom house with her parents. It appears that her father has returned to Iraq to find work, but personally I think he just skipped town to get away from this mess.

The good news is that Nadya has used up her last frozen inseminated egg. The bad news is the United States doesn't have restrictions on IVF. Hopefully there will be legislation passed as soon as possible to prevent this sort of lunacy from occurring again.
