How Soon We Will Forget

OJ ~ good to the last drop

OJ Simpson was sentenced today to as many 33 years for his conviction for armed robbery in Las Vegas.
The question is: does anyone besides OJ care any more?
Who can forget watching his white Bronco weaving in and out of traffic more than a decade ago? Remember the bloody footprint, the glove that didn't fit? Did he kill his ex-wife and her friend? Or not?
Even with all these memories, most Americans have had enough of him and really don't care if he goes to prison or not.

I have to disagree. OJs conviction is proof that karma is, indeed, a bitch. He received a much harsher sentence than any other first offender would have received, especially in "overcrowded prison" Nevada. But he got that sentence because we all know he murdered Nicole and Ron. That's why no one is screaming on the rooftops about the injustice. Because karma may be bitch, but she is also SWEET.

Steph, I heard there were a few protesters outside the courtroom, but nothing compared to the murder trials in CA.

I think OJ and his attorneys misplayed their hand. He would not take a plea, probably thinking he would receive probation or some such nonsense.

Surprise!

See ya in 9 years at the earliest!

I really hope I will forget but I can see myself 9 years from now rooting vigourously that the bastard stays where he belongs.

But then again I'm also hoping Gene Simmons gets arrested for just being who he is.

What goes around, comes around.

I disagree. I am thrilled he will not be able to play golf, speak with the media or party with boobalicious women anymore.

Steph is right...karma is a bitch.

*clinking glasses* Here's to hoping he will be someone's bitch.
