Arrest Made in Hudson Murders

Guilty of more than bad hair

William Balfour, Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother-in-law, was finally arrested for the murders of Hudson's mother, brother and nephew.

I'm sure there's a good reason why it took the Chicago Police over a month to officially charge the 27-year-old in the murders.

The cops have the murder weapon which is evidently key in the prosecution.

Balfour was named as a person of interest from the get-go, and was held in custody for an alleged parole violation. He was convicted in 1999 and served seven years for vehicular hijacking and attempted murder.

He has stopped cooperating with police and refused a lie detector test, but ... and here we go again, his mother has denied he had anything to do with the murders.

Yeah, sure, mom.
