Nothing Gay About Marriage

On their way to helping Barack Obama win the presidency, California voters approved Proposition 8 on the ballot, thus making same-sex marriage illegal. Again.
Apparently the effort to pass Prop 8 was funded by the Mormons. I'm sure you're familiar with that religious group, the fabulous Church of Latter Day Saints. They believe in the sanctity of marriage. It's between one man and, well, however many women he wants to marry.
I don't understand all the fuss about allowing same sex couples to marry. If they want to be just as miserable as heterosexual couples, who are we to deny them?

perenially liberal that i am i'm really stuck on this issue

it's like women libbers who think that the best way to keep up with men is to go and watch male strippers

let the gays come up with their own ideas.

they dont need to get married

i think it shows an insecurity that's completely unnecessary

marriage schmarriage. who cares

if we need to meet half way lets just eliminate marriage altogether

in the meantime lets just go to the dictionary on this one
