An 8-year-old boy has been accused of shooting and killing two adults, one of whom is his father with a 22 caliber weapon Wednesday evening. This happened in Senator McCain's state of Arizona in a small town of 4,000 in the southeast corner of the state, St. Johns. These statistics qualify it as part of 'real America.'
The AP quotes the boy's defense attorney, Benjamin Brewer as saying that the police overreached in questioning the boy without representation from a parent or attorney and did not advise him of his rights.
"They became very accusing early on in the interview," Brewer said. "Two officers with guns at their side, it's very scary for anybody, for sure an 8-year-old kid."
Yeah, Ben, I'm sure the kid was scared shitless, as he should have been.
In Arizona charges can be filed against any child 8 years old which is a good thing because earlier this year, a 12 year old was charged with shooting his mother to death in Cochise County.

Art Linkletter is turning over in his grave. Zero chance he would have ever anticipated the appropriation of the name of his show in such a manner.
Keep up the good work, Moons!
