A security guard was trampled to death by a mob trying to get into the Valley Stream, New York Walmart early Friday morning.
But now on to the funny news about the traditionally busiest shopping day of the year:
In Troy, Michigan a Meijers store was selling 42" plasma televisions that normally retail for $899, for the low, low price of $499.
So the Naumann brothers, Kevin, Steve and Eric, set out to purchase one each. Oh, and they also brought along a blow up doll who was going to buy a fourth.
"We tried to get her a T.V. but they wouldn't allow us," said Eric Naumann, "you've got to be able to push a cart."
Now I'm no store manager, but I think the criteria to purchase a TV should be a little more stringent. I would think the reason would have been you have to be human to buy a television. I'm sure there are lots of men and women who might want to buy a television, but in actuality might be unable to push a shopping cart.
No response on whether or not the blow up doll had her own money.

I mean to each his own but I think the best criteria is the purchaser would be able to satisfy another person sexually. Yes for me, when I see someone pushing a cart, I'm off to the races, but I do realize that others might not find this quite as stimulating.
Now while you all debate this you must excuse me, I got a date at K-Mart.
