What's Wrong With This Picture?

This is a picture of Amy Todd, McCain volunteer, who told authorities that a tall black man robbed her as she was leaving an ATM and carved the letter 'B' into her cheek. The alleged attacker apparently saw her McCain bumper sticker and that was enough to throw him into a rage.

Amy, an alleged college student, is obviously none too bright. The 'B' on her face is backwards, as it would be if you were looking in a mirror to write the letter.

The authorities aren't buying her story because of inconsistencies, not the least of which proof that she did not use the ATM when she said she did. They gave her a polygraph test and have not released the results.

When I look at Amy's blackened eye, I am reminded of "Fight Club" and how our hero beat himself up in his boss's office; one of the greatest cinematic scenes of all time. Amy could have learned some lessons from that.

If I were going to carve an initial into Amy's face, which I admit I am tempted to do, I would carve an "O." It's much easier to write whether with a pen or knife.
