Today Pope Benedict XVI had some calming words for those concerned about the global financial crisis.
He said it shows the futility of money and ambition.
No word on whether or not he was wearing his Prada shoes as he made this statement to the Synod of Bishops meeting at the Vatican.
He also did not elaborate on what the Vatican would be paying the victims of predator priests without the availability of money, nor did he say the Vatican will be selling off all the material holdings of the Church.
