The Philadelphia Philles won their second championship in franchise history last night by beating the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 of the World Series.
The game's finish had been delayed two days because of inclement weather.
I actually had to hunt for this news on the internet. It seems that no one out of Philadelphia really gives a rat's ass.
Well, congratulations for what it's worth.

Everyone cares - they just hate Philadelphia! Thanks for your congrats though - clearly you are someone who noticed!!
Perceived from the outside looking in , Phillies' fans are the most unforgiving fans in the world. "Root root root for the hometeam" is a rare rare phenomenon.
I can see their victory parade now. The fans won't know that booing is considered an inappropriate response to celebration.
I'm glad you're on the 'outside looking in' -- please stay there; no better yet sell your house so you can afford Yankees tickets!
uh-oh I hit a nerve. Okay, Anonymous, I'm gonna help you out here. If you're a Phillies fan try to not be so angry right now. At least pretend you know how to appreciate your teams accomplishments. Take a breath. In. Now breathe out. Let go of the rage that has become intrinsic to the heart and soul of Philadelphia fans. Next. Count your blessings. At least your not pathetically neurotic like Red Sox fans are.
