Missing and Presumed Stupid?

Something fishy is going on.

Missing and presumed dead guy

Remember Steve Fossett? Rich guy? Disappeared on a flight in a private plane over a year ago? Was declared dead in February?

Seems that someone happened upon some of us belongings in the California wilderness recently including a photo ID, pilot's license and $1000 in cash.

Also found was a black Nautica pullover in a size XL.

According to the AP:

Chances of finding remains are slim, said the attorney (David Baumwohl who is representing the hiker who found the items), who is a longtime resident of the mountain town and has followed similar cases.

"He's probably been eaten. This is not the first time this has happened," said Baumwohl. "When people land in alpine wilderness, there's bears, mountain lions that'll eat the body."

EATEN!!

A mountain lion took off Fossett's pullover before it ate him for dinner? What kind of crazy ass assumption is that?

They haven't found the plane either. The animals picked their teeth with the landing gear and then hauled it to the local dump?

Isn't anyone thinking Fossett faked his disappearance and is leaving clues? Or he was kidnapped and successfully fought off his attacker, feeding him to the wolves? Or have I been watching too much TV?

LOL. Missing and presumed stupid! Excellent.

Come to think of it, my guiding principle when i meet someone is "stupid until proven not stupid".

This is how it happened. Evolution begat homo sapiens. To survive they needed to hunt. Hunting requires lots of adrenalin. But then comes along civilization and cooperation. Hunting becomes less necessary. Now what to do with all this adrenalin. Hmm...

I know. Let's go fly into a mountain and let the bears and mountain lions eat us.
