Say Hey

Pre-back stab

Whenever a manager is fired from a baseball team I usually ask myself if one guy was fired instead of forty.

I think my answer would be in the affirmative after Omar Minaya fired NY Mets' manager Willie Randolph in the middle of the night.

I have the impression every time I watch the Mets play that they have just sneaked over the outfield wall and tiptoed into the dugout.

$138 million dollars ought to buy you more than this group of clowns. Jose Reyes, pretending to be a shortstop, can't even get his glove down to handle grounders.

They are the biggest bunch of chokers in baseball history, witness their colossal fall last autumn.

I think Willie Randolph is a decent guy and he certainly deserved better than the unprofessional ballplayers who make up the NY Mets. Not all of them need to go down to the minors, just most.

And he deserved to be treated with respect by the GM which he was not.

Willie is the only professional in the bunch.

I agree Moons. I think Willie deserved more.

I am disgusted with the way he was let go too.

Classless organization.

Who knows, maybe Willie is glad to be free of the Mets?

This Met thing will disappear. Willie's better off being thought of as a Yankee
