Okay, here's the deal.

For some reason, the actress Lynda Carter, who portrayed Wonder Woman in the television series, was boating in the Potomac River this weekend when she spotted a floating body.

That in itself is not strange because Washington, D.C. besides being the Capital of the United States is also the Murder Capital. What is strange is that there was just one body.

She was cited for her heroism by calling the authorities and waiting for them to arrive.

Come on! She played Wonder Woman long enough that she should have identified the victim and caught the murderer all within 57 minutes! Have we even let our standards for Superheroes slide so far downhill?
