He is guilty of having written the most banal of songs for the last forty years. His voice sounds like he just swallowed a bottle of Draino and yet he is adored by fans!

Next week he will be the mentor on American Idol. He will instruct the remaining contestants on how to sing his uninspired songs.

Coincidentally he has a new CD coming out on May 6th and he will be touring this summer to 37 cities.

Play your funky music, white boy!

In all likelihood the venues will sell out. Lots of people will buy his CDs.

Why? I just don't get it. Didn't get it years ago and still don't.
