Perhaps you have heard about the Greece fires.
Pretty scary stuff.
More than half the country is burning. The smoke is visible from space. It has been a brutally hot summer in Greece and in other European countries.
Today I heard for the first time that many of the fires have been deliberately set. Allegedly, land developers want to gain control of the charred land to construct buildings.
Apparently the government is not going to permit these developers to build on the burned land so those efforts to clear the land by flame have been for naught.
Meanwhile 60 people have died.
The ruins are in danger of being .... well, ruined. And if they are ... how exactly can you tell?
