Cereal Killer

The latest nail in the coffin of advertising in America features a mother and her young son. Apparently said son has just gotten home from school and mother slyly suggests a little treat.

She whips out a box of Cocoa Krispies and entices her son to have a bowl.

Why isn't she just sitting on his chest forcing Hershey's Kisses down his throat?

The producers of this commercial have "sweetened" it by only showing the box of the sinful cereal in color. The rest of the scene is in black and white.

We can see what the future will hold for this mother and her son.

She will import illegal fireworks for him and his friends.

She will leave her cigarettes lying around in case he has the urge to experiment.

She will take the bullets out of her gun but will leave them dangerously close to the weapon.

Eventually, after supplying her son and his buddies with alcohol for their underage drinking, she will be arrested.

Unable to fend for himself while mom is in jail, he will rely on Cocoa Krispies for sustenance. His tears will drip into the bowl. He will drink the brown tainted milk when every last morsel is eaten. He will remember the good times when he came home from school as a youngster and he won't understand where things went so wrong.

Damn you Kellogg's!
