There was another story on this evening's news about yet another person losing their $80,000 violin. I think they left it in a cab. Doesn't matter because they couldn't remember where they left it either. And through someone's honesty they got the fiddle back.
There is a story like this in the news at least once a year. Now if I was toting around an expensive musical instrument you could bet I wouldn't just forget it and leave it in a cab.
People that absent minded shouldn't be allowed to have $80,000 violins.

I have a theory that very often people with such expensive instruments are really out of touch with reality. They must be very talented to have been deemed by others (teachers, parents)to be worthy of such luxury. But often that talent is accompanied by the message don't sweat the details we'll take care of that.
Therapy: make your own damned bed and get your own friggin breakfast.
