The nine year old Boy Scout who was lost during a camping trip in North Carolina, has been found.
Michael Aubrey is the second lost scout I have written about in as many years.
Other than losing their members and hiring pedophiles, is there anything the Boy Scouts is good for? They don't even sell cookies, for God's sake.
Don't tell me it's to teach these kids how to survive in the wilderness. They wouldn't have to know how to survive in the wilderness if these asshole scout leaders didn't keep dragging them out there and losing them.
Apparently this kid didn't even want to be there and was trying to get home. Well, is it any wonder?

Forget scouting. I don't get the whole idea of seeking the great outdoors. They're all so full of it. If they love it so much why don't they just stay there.
And while I'm at it. I never was too impressed with that Thoreau fellow. The Walden Pond guy. How much time to he spend convening with nature and waxing poetic corresspondingly. A couple of days? Berating society's ways.
Again I'm thinking. So Mr Thoreau, why didn't you stay there.
The person who impresses me is the one who finds nature right where he or she stands.
