Going Postal

I am suffering from too much information. There are just so many subjects that deserve my attention that it's hard keeping up.

So I'm just going to jump to the most recent piece of news that caught my eye.

Get ready...the postal rate for first class mail is due to go up another two cents in May.

That would make the cost of mailing a first class letter 41 cents.

Is there any reason why we can't have the increases in increments that make more sense? Like increments of five cents each? That would hold us for a while wouldn't it?

Can't we raise the rate this time to 40 cents per letter? Then to 45 cents next time?

And weren't we going to get rid of the penny since it costs more than a penny to make each penny?

Just asking.

I totally agree.

And maybe that's why you have indidviduals going postal.

Nit-picking hikes, I would think, indidcates the kind of general nit-picking that would tend to drive employees crazy if not beserk.
