So there I was, waiting not so patiently for an e-mail, wondering why I wasn't receiving it.
Finally I realized my McAfee Security was blocking said e-mail because it determined it was "spam."
I had to rescue the ostracized message from the place where they sequester bad e-mails.
This is the price we pay for asking for protection for our computers. Lest any spyware or spam wiggle its way into our hard drive, we dig moats and lift the drawbridges.
Do I really want a computer thinking for me? Isn't this what caused all the problems in "2001: A Space Odyssey?"
Okay, next time I have to remember to go to the holding cell and check for e-mails I might be waiting for that have been "detained."
With all the passwords I have to remember, now I have to remember to do that too?
Yes, I'm afraid I must.
To keep the viruses, spam and spies at bay, I must.

I'd live on Ellis Island to be assured that my computer always runs at top speed.
ellis island? i don't get it...
Ellis Island was a quarantine staion, a way to keep virus's away from the general public. Although a reverse analogy, my point is I'd do almost anything to keep the virus's from interfering with my computer.
PS Moons, though who knows all, what is the plural of virus.
The plural of virus is viruses.
(Slapping palm against forehead) Oh my God, I should have known that. VirusEs. It's official - braindamage has been made manifest.
