The New York Yankees finally won a game after four losses.
The offense wasn't overwhelming, but Mike Mussina was. He pitched a shut out and Joe Torre wisely didn't take him out of the game so that the bullpen could come in and blow it.
Does it even matter that they were playing the Oakland A's?
I don't think so. Their worst enemies in every game are themselves.
