I'm sure I wasn't the only one who thought that perhaps Saddam Hussein had been tapped by Calvin Klein to peddle his undergarments when I saw the picture of him in his skivvies courtesy of the London Sun.
And here we go with talk of the Geneva Convention again!
Apparently you cannot take pictures of detainees in their underpants? Is this cruel and dehumanizing?
Or maybe it focuses more on the prisoner's physical attributes instead of his great mental and emotional insights? Do we want this tyrant to be just another piece of meat on a Times Square billboard?
Okay, maybe the undies weren't the best fitting, but I think with a little photgraphic retouching we could accentuate the positive aspects of Saddam and turn him into the centerfold he was meant to be.
