Snatched from Today's Headlines

More than fifty bodies have been pulled from the Tigris River in Iraq.

President Talabani believes they were swimming in the river when they were overcome by the polluted waters.

Asked about the holes in their backs, the president opined that they were caused by fish hooks and denied that they resembled bullet holes in any respect.

Maybe it was sharpshooters trying to shoot the hooks from their backs in a surgical kind of way.

Maybe?

I guess you could say the victims were caught between Iraq and a hard place

and that aint no joke - I can't imagine what it's like to live in such chaos - I mean I get incredibly upseet when I get a flat tire.
