tut..tut..tut

I'm sure you were as relieved as I was to hear that scientists have concluded that King Tut was not murdered.

In case you didn't read the news, here is a reprint of the article as it came across the wires this morning:

The King's family is "finally at peace" knowing their beloved passed away from natural causes and had not been murdered. There was evidence that the King's leg had been broken, but that injury would not have been fatal.

The search for the King's murderers has been discontinued. After thousands of years of interviewing neighbors, following every lead in Egypt and coming up empty, the case's investigators were not sorry to finally put the incident to bed.

Investigators had not uncovered any new evidence in over three thousand years until today's stunning news.

"We're just happy we'll be able to get on with our lives now," said a spokesperson for the Tuts.

Sometimes I watch that show on A&E, "Cold Case Files". It's an hour show that if you really think about it could be done in 3 or 4 minutes. But I don't mind. As long as I know that the guilty one has been tracked down, tried and convicted in the end.

On the other hand, to think of watching for an hour and then find out not only did they not find the killer but in fact there was no crime in the first place would really get me mad.

SO....

Now I'm thinking of this cold case involving King Tut where after 3000 yrs not only are they not telling me who the gulity one was but insult to injury there was no murder in the first place.

I'm just grateful that I wasn't watching this show the whole time. Otherwise I'd really be pissed. Thank God for remotes controls.

Think about all those viewers who were watching for 3000+ years. Talk about a cold case!

Is that show, "Unsolved Mysteries" still on?

I really hated it. I mean, what's the point?

Who liked it anyway? The kind of people who would fix themselves a nice snack but wouldn't eat it?

People who would do all the foreplay stuff but no climax?

People who would take a nice drive upstate but turn around just before they got to their destination?

Unsolved Mysteries indeed. I got one. Solve me this. What kind of lame person would watch this show more than once.

Oh wait a second. The mail just arrived. Gotta go. Time to open it up and not read it.
