I don't see the big deal if a guy leaves the toilet seat up after he pees.
Personally I have only gone ass-first into a toilet once in my entire life because the seat was up. I ... get this ... look to see if the seat is up before I sit.
In a co-gender residence it's a crap shoot (no pun intended) on which gender will use the toilet next. Is it fair to ask a guy to pick up the seat, pee, and then put down the seat while asking a woman to just go in and set her ass down?
Personally I don't think it is and that may make me unpopular with women who disagree.
There are just way too many other things that men do wrong to get upset about this one.
Just my opinion, of course.

That's bullshit mommy. And don't let my brother read this or he'll never do the right thing again.
they say there are two sides to every story. moon's post seemed so sensible and understanding i forgot for a moment there was a chance some would disagree. anyway, my favorite part was the insight this might be seen as way down there on the list of wrongs that men do.
ps i know i'm way behind on the language thing among todays younger generation but i have to say i like the new jargon. calling a fellow fem "mommy" seems to neatly eclipse the tired practise of addressing these situations with the endearment "girlfriend".
also would like to say that this "brother" will alternately put up and leave down the seat to make as many "mommys" alternately pleased or displeased as is humanly possible and fair. what else to do? who am i to say who is right or wrong?
