SqueakyWow, how wrong could I be? I never thought any of the Manson chicks would ever get out of prison except in a body bag.
Squeaky Fromme wasn't implicated in the Sharon Tate murders of August 1969 (yeah, that was a crazy ass month) but she did wave a loaded gun at President Gerald Ford in 1975. She's been in jail since her conviction. Oh wait, except for the time she escaped from prison in 1987. Yeah, they tacked a few years on to her life sentence for that.
She was shipped off to a prison in Pleasanton, CA in 1978 after prison officials said she had become a "model inmate." But she was sent back to West Virginia in 1979 as punishment for striking another inmate with a hammer while the two tended a garden.
I'm thinking maybe the Squeakster wasn't such a model prisoner, and why would you need a hammer for gardening?
It sounds as if Lynette even though she's now 60, is still suffering from a case of the crazies.
In 2005 she wrote a letter to a Dallas newspaper in which she said, "I stood up and waved a gun (at Ford) for a reason. I was so relieved not to have to shoot it, but, in truth, I came to get life. Not just my life but clean air, healthy water and respect for creatures and creation."
Right.
I'm thinking it was a bad idea to let her out. Do we really think she'll be checking in with her parole officer?
