No No No

It'd been over two and a half years since we blogged about Amy Winehouse when she was found dead in her London apartment. Frankly, we'd forgotten about her, possibly distracted by Lady Gaga.

Both of our posts marveled that she was still alive.

Reader Steph commented in November of 2008 that Amy would find herself a member of the 27 club, and lo! that is exactly what happened.

Yes, it's a shame that her addictions were bigger than she was but please, let's not sanitize what was her life. It may not be kind to speak ill of the dead, but it's also unwise to not speak the truth.
