
Seems as if the whole country has its panties in a twist over the Casey Anthony verdict. She was acquitted on all serious charges of murdering her two year old daughter, Caylee, and could only see prison time for lying like a rug.
Yes, it's very sad that a little girl died. Why this case is worse than so many other toddler deaths that occur every day is a mystery to me. Except for one reason. Casey had already been convicted by the media.
The television coverage this case received was not to be believed. There hadn't been anything like it since the OJ Simpson trial.
The funny thing is that no matter how much Headline News believes someone is guilty, the courtroom is where a trial needs to take place, not the boob tube. That's what we are all guaranteed in our judicial system. Not guilty until proven otherwise in a court of law. Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
