Police found a deceased 33-year-old woman early this morning at the Soho House, a swanky hotel in Manhattan's meatpacking district where evidently the elite go to get murdered. The woman has been identified as fashion designer Sylvie Cachay.
Allegedly found soaking wet wearing a sweater, shirt and underwear, there was evidence that Ms. Cachay's hair had caught fire at some point. There were suspicious marks on her neck that might indicate that she had been strangled. Or she might have been smoking crack. Or possibly both.
Her 24-year-old boyfriend is Nicholas Brooks whose father, Joseph, is a particular favorite of this blog writer. He's the dude who wrote "You Light Up My Life" and is currently under indictment on 82 various sexual perversion counts.
Nicholas has been described as "unstable." Why does that not surprise me?
I predict that this murder mystery is going to be even more intriguing than a Debbie Boone song.
