This man is the late Christian Kandbauer who hailed from Austria.He lost his arms after being electrocuted. The right arm was a normal prosthetic but the left was a special bionic arm that was 'thought controlled,' just like a real arm!
Christian actually took and passed his driving test using his artificial limbs in a specially adapted vehicle.
The other day he was dragged from the burning wreckage of the aforementioned car and was declared brain dead.
Mr. Kandbauer had a lot of good things to say about his mind controlled arm. He was able to return to work and drive around ... getting back to his earlier life.
Did his robotic arm malfunction? Did he want to drive into a tree? Were his prosthetic limbs fighting with each other? Did they both gang up on him?
We may never know, but hopefully he died happy.
