A New Hampshire family that was in attendance when Dawn Brancheau was killed by the appropriately named killer whale in Orlando six months ago, has filed a lawsuit against Sea World. Suzanne and Todd Connell claim their son was traumatized by watching the whale kill its trainer.
Oh, please.
Their 10 year old son has apparently not had a decent night's sleep since witnessing the drowning and his family wants $15,000 in damages.
That's just plain ridiculous. Do you guys think 15 grand is going to touch the psych bills the kid is going to rack up over the next ten years? Let's be serious. If you're going to sue let's go for a couple of million.
Sea World has been fined $75,000 by OSHA for safety violations in the workplace.
How about we stop putting sea creatures in little tanks for our amusement for starters? That's the most blatant violation of all.

Lets be serious.
a) Psych bills don't go into the millions in ten years.
b) Going to the TV stations isn't more traumatizing for the kid? The folks just want cash.
c) I don't agree with profiting off of someone's death and neither should you.
Hello, Anonymous, and thanks for stopping by.
Have you heard of the concept of 'sarcasm'? There's quite a bit of it in this blog.
Also, please don't double up your prepositions as in 'off of'. It's really irritating.
