The NY Times reports today that legislation has stalled in Washington to prevent companies from trying to sell crap to your kids.
Apparently it is okay for manufacturers to keep making sugary cereals and unhealthy food as long as they're not trying to sell it to your children.
Does this mean that parents today are considered to be such pussies that they can't turn down a request for Froot Loops? Whatever happened to the word 'NO?'
NO sugar is not in the food pyramid and neither is high fructose corn syrup.
NO you can't eat everything fried in fat.
NO you won't die if you eat a piece of broccoli.
NO you can't watch television every minute that you're awake.
