If you make it through this glorious three day weekend to emerge unarrested and alive on July 6th, then you deserve a 21 gun salute.
We've already had a guy on Long Island blow off his arm with fireworks and from Georgia comes news of the arrest of a couple who tattooed their children with a crude device made from guitar strings.
What's the matter, people? Can't actually play the guitar?
These here is them. That's Jacob Edwards Bartels and his woman, Patty Jo Marsh. She ain't the actual mother of at least some of them kids. They tattooed five of their six young'uns.
"We would never do anything to hurt them. I don't understand why this is getting blowed up so big," Patty Jo said after she got herself arrested.
Problem is tattooing minors is illegal in Georgia (as well it should be) even if you're just drawing little crosses on their little hands.
