Photo Op

The President and Mrs. Obama hosted a reception at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last week for visiting dignitaries and their spouses and as part of the festivities they posed with every couple.

I have to admit I didn't realize there were so many nations and that their leaders and brides are absolutely awesome.

Take this charming duo. H.E. Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroon, and his wife, Mrs. Chantal Biya.

I want to know where does Chantal get her done and where did she get that fabulous outfit? It's obvious she's got 'tude too. You go, girl!

Here we have the Obamas with H.E. Ahmed Abdallah Mohamed Sambi, President of the Union of the Comoros, and his wife, Mrs. Djoudi Hadjir.

Now I've never heard of the Comoros and I have no idea where they are. I'm sort of guessing it might be a country where dudes get to have more than one wife. Did Ahmed bring Djoudi because she's the best looking of his brides or because she knows how to rock a tablecloth?

Because the Obamas' facial expressions don't vary in any picture I'm beginning to suspect that Michelle and Barack are cardboard cutouts.
