Just when you thought you had no reason to go on living comes word that Universal Studios will be adding a Harry Potter Park to its Islands of Adventures in Orlando.
Opening in Spring of 2010, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will feature Forbidden Journey, a high tech ride, and (according to the AP) other rides including the Dragon Challenge, a twin high-speed roller coaster themed after the "Triwizard Tournament" and the family roller coaster Flight of the Hippogriff, named for a creature with an eagle's head and a horse's body.
J.K. Rowling hasn't been to Orlando but she has been consulted in the U.K. About one million tourists arrive in Orlando every year from the U.K. and the addition of Wizarding World should increase that number.
