You may have heard about the latest shenanigans at Wrigley Field. During a game between the Chicago Cubs and World Champion Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, someone tossed a beer at Shane Victorino. That's a shot of it above.
Who would waste a perfectly good beer like that? Absolutely disgraceful.
Seriously though, it seems that Cubs' fans don't actually go to watch the Cubs play. They go to drink beer, and apparently, throw beer. Remember this team hasn't won a championship in 101 years which I imagine must be really discouraging and reason enough to want to get drunk.
There's talk about banning the sale of beer at Wrigley. Will anyone show up for the games if that's the case?
I think having a beer at a ballgame should enhance your experience. It should not be your entire reason for being there. Aren't there bars in Chicago?
