Gorilla shows more sensitivity than Kate Gosselin
Twelve year old German gorilla, Gana, gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Sunday.
Last year, Gana's newborn died and she was obviously distraught, carrying the little corpse around with her.
The zoo will probably name the baby Claudia — after Claudia Kleinert, a German television weather forecaster and presenter. The zoo asked Kleinert to be the baby's godmother because "she showed enormous interest in the mother's last baby, which ended up dying tragically," Zuehlke said.
I had no idea that gorilla babies had human godparents. Is that even legal in the world of organized religion?
