The Telegraph (UK) has picked up on a story that I had my doubts was true.
Seems there's a guy in Flint, Michigan named Dan Kildee who thinks in order to keep cities viable vasts tracts of land will have to be razed. He's the county treasurer so that might give him some credibility.
Since there's been an exodus out of these dying cities and apparently no cut back in services, getting rid of most of the city will help cut costs.
Watch out if a bulldozer comes cruising through your neighborhood.
