R.I.P.

This picture alone should have canceled the show

The powers that be that control what airs on television and what doesn't have axed 36 shows. Many of these programs weren't around long enough to be watched, some you may never have heard of.
Out of the 3 dozen, I actually watched one, "Life" on NBC, but that's because I'm a big Damian Lewis fan (Band of Brothers).
There seems to be some surprise that My Name is Earl was canceled. Why? It was clearly not in the slightest bit amusing. Same for Samantha Who?.
American networks just don't understand that television shows should not run forever. The Brits seem to get that, but on this side of the Atlantic not so much; like ER, The Unit, Without a Trace. Television shows should not have the life span of a human.
All in all most of the programs not worth commenting on at all. They'll be gone and you really won't care.

I totally agree, but then again I'm still mourning the passing of Gunsmoke. Why, oh why, did it have to end?
