David Hernandez, pictured above on right, was voted off American Idol last night.

Was it more than his massacre of the sacred Lennon/McCartney song, "I Saw Her Standing There" that got him the boot?

Speculation abounds that it was Hernandez's previous life as a male stripper that resulted in his ouster from the show. Perhaps fans thought his past occupation was unbecoming an American Idol.

Singing may not have been David's thang. Hopefully there are a few more laps for him to dance on.
